Burning or pain when urinating: a symptom to look out for

 

 

If urination becomes painful or causes a burning sensation, it may be a sign   of a urinary tract infection (UTI  ). This is common, especially in women, but   sometimes requires treatment  . If symptoms persist or are accompanied by blood in the urine,   consult a doctor immediately  . Drinking more fluids may help but is not a substitute for medical advice.
