Every time I try to boil eggs, something goes wrong.
When I peel them, the inside is still soft, sticky, and sometimes even liquid starts coming out. I thought boiling eggs was one of the easiest things to do in the kitchen… but apparently not
So after a lot of failed attempts, I finally learned a few simple tricks that actually make a huge difference.
Here’s the method that works best:
First, place the eggs in a pot and cover them completely with cold water. Don’t use hot water from the beginning because it can cook the outside too fast while the inside stays undercooked.
Then add a little salt or a few drops of vinegar to the water. This helps make peeling easier later.
Turn on the heat and wait until the water starts boiling. Once it reaches a full boil, reduce the heat slightly and let the eggs cook:
Around 8 minutes for medium eggs
10 to 12 minutes for fully hard-boiled eggs
